Yin yoga is a gentle, calming form of yoga that invites you to pause and reconnect with yourself. It's a moment where you don't need to do anything or achieve anything, but simply be. In yin yoga, you stay longer in relaxed poses, often supported by cushions or blankets. This helps you release muscle tension and feel deeper into your body. The focus is mainly on stretching the connective tissue and joints, gradually creating more space and flexibility.
It feels like giving yourself a break—a deep breath for both your body and your mind. Yin yoga is gentle, not just for your body but also for your mind. It invites you to listen to what you need with kindness and without judgment. It’s a moment of surrender and rest, like coming home to yourself. At the same time, yin yoga challenges you to explore the “orange zone” in terms of stretch in your body—a light stretch that, afterwards, creates space and restores blockages and energy.
